About Joshimath
Joshimath, also called Jyotirmath, is a hill region located at an elevation of more than six thousand feet in Chamoli. Joshimath is a pious region for Hindu devotees and is in close proximity to the four seats established by Adi Guru Shri Shankaracharya during the 8th century. This ‘math’ primarily concentrates on the Atharva Veda. It is a gateway to several Himalayan mountain climbing expeditions, trekking trails, and pilgrim centers like Badrinath.

Located just 8 kilometers before Auli and only 02 kilometers away from Auli Ropeway, which is the second largest ropeway in the world. Badrinath a holy Hindu place, and one of the four sites in India's Char Dham pilgrimage, is just 44 kilometers from our place.

Hidden gem in Joshimath (Tathastu Maitri Resort with a great Team)! “I didn’t expect such a charming place in Joshimath! I had stopped over on the way to Badrinath! I stopped with friends for stay although food & service was done well. The restaurant has good decor and seating outside overlooking the hills. The rooms definitely have very smoothing ambience. Keep up the good work.
We planned Auli trip in the month of December, Had our stay in Tathastu Maitri Ski Resort. This is the best resort in Joshimath . We really enjoyed our stay; best part of this resort is the view which we get from our room. All room are facing toward the snow-clad mountains. Which give majestic view from rooms, rooms are also very comfortable warm and cozy, food provided was delicious and has good variety. Best part of the resort its helpful and polite staff recommended to all & will visit again.
